IJESPORTS talks to Nepomuk Nothelfer (University of Augsburg & FeSR)

Nepomuk Nothelfer is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Augsburg (Germany). He works, researches and teaches in civil, labor/employment and tax law with a focus on esports and compliance. He is a lecturer at the University of Augsburg, the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie (Academy of Administration and Economics) and the Institut for Esports of the Hochschule für angewandtes Management (University of Applied Management; first esports management degree course in Europe and one of the biggest worldwide). Furthermore, he is co-founder of the first Research Center for Esports Law in Europe and founding member of the global Esports Research Network. He works as a freelancer for one of the leading global law firms, is a volunteer mentor of LawWithoutWalls and served as member of the 25th and 26th faculty council and the academic council of the University of Augsburg.
